Paramyth Films plants 'Green'

VlahakisParamyth Films is going green, tapping Ed O'Ross, Shannon Elizabeth, Annabella Sciorra, George Finn and Alessandra Toressani to star in "A Green Story."Written and directed by Paramyth's Nika Agiashvili, "A Green Story" chronicles the life of Greek immigrant Van Vlahakis, who arrived in America with only $22 in his pocket and eventually founded the Earth Friendly Products company. O'Ross stars as the modern-day Vlahakis, who is misdiagnosed with cancer and given two months to live. Reflecting on his life as an immigrant during the1950s (played in flashbacks by Finn), he ultimately decides to push himself by closing one final deal that will cement his company's success, even if he is not around to see it. "A Green Story" begins production Nov. 3 with principal photography taking place in Los Angeles, Chicago and Crete, Greece. Agiashvili will produce the pic alongside John Edward Lee, Chadwick Struck and Deanna Plascencia. It's the second feature for Agiashvili, who wrote and directed "5 Nights in Hollywood," which will be released nationwide via Walmart, Blockbuster and Amazon on Nov. 1.The Beverly Hills-based Paramyth specializes in films with budgets of $2 million to $3 million.Elizabeth is represented by 5 Boroughs Entertainment, Don Buckwald & Associates/Fortitude's Michael McConnell. Sciorra is represented by Framework Entertainment. Finn is represented by ICM and Luber Roklin Entertainment's Lena Roklin and Mara Santino.
