CBS Renews Survivor For Just Two More Seasons, Sets Feb Premiere Date For Next Cycle

CBS has purchased Seasons 25 and 26 ofTV’s longest-running reality competition, Survivor. Furthermore, the network has set a premiere date for that series’ approaching 24th cycle, that will debut on February. 15. Four-time Emmy champion Shaun Probst will return as host and executive producer for that three approaching cycles of Survivor. He'll juggle his responsibilities around the reality series together with his new syndicated daily talk show, which launches next September, as CBS and brother or sister CBS TV Distribution, which produces the talk show, make arranging plans. Seasons 25 and 26 of Survivor will film back-to-back this spring, after which it Probst will segue into pre-manufacture of the talk show. In the 23rd edition, Survivor: South Off-shore is calculating 12.3 million audiences, after which it 3.8/11 in grown ups 18-49 within the Wednesday 8 PM slot. The series is created by SEG, Corporation. Mark Burnett, Shaun Probst and David Burris are executive producers.
